| Twin Blues Stud, situated in North Christchurch, New Zealand, is run and owned by me, Cherie Jackson with the help and support of my husband Calvin. I have ALWAYS loved horses, with a special love of Clydies. The stud was named after my two beautiful human children, who both have stunning blue eyes.
With the banner tying in not only my boys, one of my favourite colours but part of my heritage too I have to thank Kiri Matenga of Awatea Farms for working with me to design what I wanted. Horses don't need to be for the rich & we prove that by breeding quality horses that most can afford. Breed a future best friend as well as a safe hack or show horse. |

| We breed for good bone and movement but they must have the all-important temperament to make it perfect.
I breed for myself primarily so regardless of colour, which I see as an added bonus, I aim for good all rounders with excellent natures who are safe, for children or adults. Because we carry a reputation for trying to find only the best of homes we are given a lot of horses that we either put in-foal or back under saddle. A lot of the horses given to us have been given up on by their owners as they are just too difficult. We far from have a magic cure, we just work with the horse as an individual give them time and attention and as a general rule these intelligent animals come around on their own. |

| We have many leased blocks that we run a number of horses, which include 3 stallions, youngstock at various ages and our broodmares.
We will constantly be upgrading our site, with our babies that will be available at weaning and any other horses that may come through. Please browse through and if anything interests you feel free to contact me. |
